Still terrible reflux, need to find this boy some relief! Despite the reflux today, we had a lovely walk on the trail. He wasn't interested in being guided by hand however he would follow me as I would walk ahead. It was wonderful to experience him watching me and following me as I walked along the path. At one point, Lowell and Lane went another direction and Ian wanted to follow them.
When we returned home, Ian and I started jumping on the trampoline. Within a few minutes he jumped and landed on my foot and I think twisted his ankle. He's been limping all evening and we hope he'll feel better in the morning. Fortunately, it doesn't appear to be anything serious, thank goodness! Then when we took him off, he immediately put an oak leaf into his mouth. As we tried to get it out, he inhaled it!!! This put us all into crisis mode. I can write about it now because Ian is perfectly fine but during the moment Lowell and I were doing everything we could to get him to clear that leaf. Poor Lane just wanted it to be gone and SO DID WE!!! Finally, after many gulps of water, the leaf seemed to clear and go down his throat. PHEW!
So, we had an eventful afternoon. He's calmer this evening and we're looking forward to a more peaceful day tomorrow!
